This Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty for Keystone Siding& Windows, Inc. covers installation services of siding, soffit, fascia, window casing trim, replacement windows, doors, gutters, and gutter protection systems to owner-occupied, single-family residential homes according to established industry standards and covers defects caused by improper installation workmanship. This warranty extends to the original homeowner who purchased installation services from Keystone Siding& Windows, Inc. and to the first party that thereafter acquires, directly from such original homeowner, fee title to the home where such services were completed. This warranty is not transferable beyond the first party that acquires fee title to the home directly from the original homeowner.
With respect to the original homeowner that purchased the services from Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc., the warranty coverage is in effect for as long as such homeowner owns and occupies the home where the services were completed. With respect to the first party that acquires fee title to such home directly from the original homeowner, the warranty coverage is in effect for a period of 5 years from the completion of the work. See applicable exclusions below.
In the event of a valid warranty claim, Keystone Siding &Windows, Inc. will furnish labor to repair any defective installation workmanship. We will also supply replacement materials when necessary to make such repairs. Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc. reserves the right to substitute materials that it believes are of equal value if materials identical to those originally installed are no longer readily available to us when such repairs are performed. All replacement work and materials will be provided solely by Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc. or by parties designated by Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc. The homeowner may not contract with another company to provide such labor or materials unless otherwise directed in writing by Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc. Repairs undertaken by the homeowner or third parties without the written approval of Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc. will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage related to acts of God, weather conditions, storm damage, fire, flood, earthquake, moisture, water, humidity retention or accumulation, mildew, mold, settlement or deterioration of the building structure, improper care, adverse effects of pollution, normal surface wear, accidental or intentional damage, manufacturing defects, failure of materials, or any cause beyond Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc.’s control. In addition, this Warranty does not cover routine maintenance (e.g., caulking, cleaning). KEYSTONE SIDING & WINDOWS,INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY EVENT FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR OF ANY RESIDENCE WHETHER FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY INTORT, OR FOR ANY OTHER CAUSE. The total liability of Keystone Siding &Windows, Inc. for claims under this warranty shall be limited to, and in no event shall exceed, in the aggregate, the total installed cost of the home improvement products originally installed by Keystone Siding & Windows, Inc.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY FOR KEYSTONE SIDING & WINDOWS, INC. AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. KEYSTONE SIDING & WINDOWS,INC. DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This Warranty does not replace any warranties made by the manufacturer of the materials installed by KEYSTONE SIDING & WINDOWS, INC., and any claims relating to defective materials should be made directly to the manufacturer of such materials as stated in its written warranty.
To file a Workmanship Warranty claim, you must provide written notice of the claim, a copy of your original Keystone Siding& Windows, Inc. contract, and a picture of the alleged defect, within 30days after your discovery of the alleged claim.
Painting workmanship warranty is limited to 5 years on fiber cement surfaces from the completion of the original work. Painting workmanship warranty is limited to 3 years on all other surfaces from the completion of the original work.
